The Most Amazing Trip Out West That You Must Do!

I know many of you have already heard us say this, but this family trip was hands down one of the absolute BEST! So good that the only reason we came home was for Bucky LOL! Make sure you read to the end to see the video Elsa put together.

We are going to give a run down of our itinerary on the blog today - I would do this all again in a heartbeat.

Day One - flew into Las Vegas and stayed one night at the Bellagio. Loved seeing the fountains. Had dinner at the cutest place (Honey Salt) and the food was phenomenal as well as my Paloma!

Day Two & Three - drove 2.5 hours to Zion National Park and stayed at the Zion Lodge in the park. Highly recommend doing this so that you are in the park and do not have to get up at 3am to get in the car line to get into the park. The scenery is to die for.

The next day we hiked The Narrows in Zion and OMG! A couple of things about this hike - you pretty much hike in a river with rocks and you can rent water hiking boots and walking sticks - this is a MUST! Absolute beauty!

Our two favorite restaurants in Zion were Oscar's Cafe and Whiptail Grill.

Day Four - drove 1.5 hours to Bryce Canyon National Park. I cannot say enough about the views in this canyon. Probably our most favorite!

So there are not too many options for restaurants here but everyone goes to Ruby's Inn for dinner and I'm not going to lie, my pot roast was delicious :)

Day Five, Six and Seven - drove 4.5 hours to Moab. The first day in Moab we hiked The Arches. WOW! Our most favorite arch was The Delicate Arch. Amazing!

Self timer pic at The Arches.

After hiking we had to stop at the famous Quesadilla truck in Moab - enough said. For dinner we ate at the Moab Brewery - delicious!

The next morning we got up and headed out on our ATV adventure through Hurrah Pass. This was so FUN! And Jason did not like it at all LOL! Btw another fabulous self timer pic!

Because it was Friday night we had to have pizza so we ate at Antica Forma - great wood fired pizza!

The next morning we got up early for our all day white water rafting excursion down the Colorado River - the rapids were amazing!!! And make sure to ask Elsa about our guide Nate. There might be a quick picture of him in her video :)

By the way after we had lunch is when we had to strap up and put our helmets on for the rapids in case you were wondering :)

And for our last night of dinner we hit up an amazing mexican restaurant called Miguel's Baja Grill - best fish tacos!!!!!

And we could not end our trip without a quick stop at Doughbird for the most incredible donuts - this is a must if you are in Moab!

And thank you to Elsa for making this amazing video!

Please let us know if you have any questions about this trip - it truly has become our favorite family vacation so far!!!!
