1. What's your favorite daily "ritual"?
Hands down for me is working out and my devotion time! I have always loved being active and this is the best way to start my day. In addition to moving my body, I love sitting with my cup of coffee and spending some time reading my bible and doing various devotions in the morning. These are two rituals that I can't live without. ~Jen
COFFEE !! Oh my goodness for sure my coffee! I love to workout every day but I would have to say that getting my Dunkin or just drinking coffee every day is my favorite! ~Elsa
2. Is there a country you want to see?
There are so many places I want to see in this world, but I would say that my latest obsession has been to see Greece. It looks so beautiful and that water... ~Jen
Multiple actually!! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Greece!! But there are so many more beautiful countries waiting to be explored (I feel very empowered by one of my favorite instagram, travel influencers Indy Blue, if you can’t tell right now!!) I also really want to go to France and England and London! I know those aren’t specific countries but you get the point! ~Elsa
3. Favorite thing to do during quarantine?
I would say having dinner together as a family has been magical! We have had some amazing conversations and lots of laughs. I have also loved our theme nights. It's fun getting creative together. You can find all of our theme nights here on Instagram. ~Jen
I’m not even kidding when I say eat! Literally that’s what I look forward to during the day- “what am I gonna eat next?” Especially during this intermittent fasting, eating has become very very enjoyable when I can! ~Elsa
4. What are some of your favorite TikTok dances?
This is a dance I want to learn and I LOVE following Allison Holker Boss on TikTok! She is married to tWitch from the Ellen Show and every Monday and Wednesday they do a live dance workout on Instagram - Love it! Still my dream to be a dancer some day LOL! ~Jen
Unfortunately I am more so of a watcher than a creator on tiktok!! But I am a sucker for the ‘Savage’ dance!! ~Elsa
5. What is your favorite thing about working with Elsa/Jen on the blog?
First off I am so grateful that she agreed to do this with me! I would have to say I LOVE seeing what she writes in our posts. We usually agree on a topic together, but then we both go off in our little corners and write. I love seeing her heart and openness on the blog :) ~Jen
I would just say spending more time with my mama! She’s my best friend so it’s not like we didn’t spend time before, but this has given us an opportunity to bond and spend more time together! ~Elsa
6. Where should we go on our next girls trip?
I want to do a girls trip to Nashville! I have never been and it sounds like so much fun! Who's in??!!!! ~Jen
If we’re talking out of the country, definitely Greece!! If we are staying in the US then Cali!! ~Elsa
7. How do you stay motivated in times like these?
I am not going to lie, it has been hard at times to stay motivated. And on those days, I don't fight it. There are days where I do nothing and I am lazy and that is OK! But to try and stay motivated I get up early and go for a run with a few girlfriends - this definitely brings me sanity! And I take Bucky for a walk or two or three...just getting some fresh air clears my mind and the other day I ran into a friend I had not seen in years and we ended up walking together for like an hour and caught up - it was so great!!!! ~Jen
I’m just kidding, kind of!! It’s been hard lately because school is ending so I’m really about to have nothing to do! BUT I look forward to the little things in every day! For example, my Dunkin and Starbucks runs with Kate and Emily! OR watching our family show after dinner! And tonight we were having Buffalo Wild Wings (well actually just emily and I were!!) for one of her birthday dinners and I was looking forward to it all of yesterday and today!! It’s the small things like those that get me excited for the next day! And of course having hope for the future!! ~Elsa
8. What are some of your favorite stores to shop at?
Target, Nordstrom, Abercrombie, and my Nuuly subscription are probably my favorite places for clothes and shoes. And Amazon for everything else! ~Jen
Athletic clothes= lululemon for sure!! and Nike and Dick’s Sporting Goods!!

9. What are your favorite workouts from home?
Besides running, I like Pamela Reif's ab workouts on YouTube and truthfully any arm workout on YouTube. Working out at home has been really hard for me as I have always been a gym/workout class girl so I can't wait to get back to the gym!!!! ~Jen
Okay, honestly I struggle with workouts!! Since I’ve always played sports, I’ve never had to formally workout and I loved it!! Now I’ve been trying to just find my groove and what works best for me! I HATE running, but I’ll do it! I also like weighted workouts and lifting!! But right now fun, Youtube videos are getting me to workout! ~Elsa
10. How is your intermittent fasting going?
I definitely struggled with the intermittent fasting! Not because I could not eat, but the time of day we did it (12pm-8pm). I get up early and not being able to eat until 12:00pm was a struggle! I know there are different ways to do intermittent fasting so I need to do a little bit of research to see what time works best for me. I know there a lot of benefits to it so it's definitely something to try! ~Jen
Surprisingly very very well!! Not eating in the morning and late at night has given my stomach a time of rest and to just digest all of the food I’ve eaten! I wake up feeling really good about myself, hungry, but confident!😂 it’s made me feel slightly better about myself because I am controlling my eating but also feel completely fine eating a brownie sundae within my 12-8 time period !! It’s definitely an experience I recommend people to TRY! I’m only 1.5 weeks in but it’s been doing me good so far! ~Elsa
