Kate did our Make Up!

Makeup is not my strong suit... like at all. Don't get me wrong, I love experimenting or trying new products when I have a special event, but I can barely brush my teeth in the morning so there's no way I'm putting on a full face of makeup. But when I do wear makeup, I love trying new eye makeup looks. A couple years ago for Christmas I asked for the 3502 Morphe eye makeup pallet and I've been using it and loving it ever since. It has a bunch of fall and neutral colors that I can use with any outfit or event. I'm no James Charles, but when homecoming or a special family event comes around, I'm digging into the cabinet under my sink and coloring my face!

Let me start out by saying that Kate is AWESOME at doing make up! Seriously! I don't wear a lot of make up, especially as I get older, but Kate took what I had, added a few things and BAM! Wish she could do my make up everyday :)

The one thing I do not leave home without is my lipstick - it is a must for my make up! And I always wear lip liner with it - my lips look weird without it.

The one thing I do not wear is an under eye concealer. I have tried and tried to wear it and for some reason it makes my wrinkles under my eyes look worse - every time! I have even had the make up ladies do it with their best eye concealer and it looks terrible. I am telling you this because not every make up product out there looks the same on everyone. You really have to find what you like and what works for you. Unfortunately it is a lot of trial and error, but I know that you can try any make up at Target for example and return it if you do not like it.

Here are a couple of pictures from our make up session along with the products we used. We use a mix of products from Target, Mary Kay, Sephora, Ulta and anything else we can find in our drawers lol.
